About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Logic Construction Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our interior and exterior projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of our projects.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim.
  • Wall Covering Specialist: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as required, ensuring a safe and stable working environment.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and coordinate the work to ensure timely completion.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) on a regular basis.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards.
