Job Summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for undertaking the preparation of servicing and stormwater management related studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute stormwater management designs and land development projects, including drafting of plans and involvement in the detailed design process.
  • Prepare master and functional servicing studies for secondary draft plans, and site plans.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to internal team members and clients.
  • Work with clients, municipal and conservation authorities to assist in the construction process, ensuring projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner, within budget.
  • Assist with managing junior staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience in Civil3D, PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in servicing and stormwater management in relation to land development engineering.
  • Valid registration or ability to register as a Professional Engineer or Civil Engineering Technologist in Alberta.
  • Ability to conduct oneself professionally in all areas of communication.
  • Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals to complete the preliminary servicing of SWM studies.
  • Valid license and ability to conduct site visits on a regular or as-needed basis.
Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $85,000-120,000 (experience dependent).
