TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for undertaking the preparation of servicing and stormwater management related studies.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute stormwater management designs and land development projects, including drafting of plans and involvement in the detailed design process.
- Prepare master and functional servicing studies for secondary draft plans, and site plans.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to internal team members and clients.
- Work with clients, municipal and conservation authorities to assist in the construction process, ensuring projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner, within budget.
- Assist with managing junior staff as needed.
- Experience in Civil3D, PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years experience in servicing and stormwater management in relation to land development engineering.
- Valid registration or ability to register as a Professional Engineer or Civil Engineering Technologist in Alberta.
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally in all areas of communication.
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals to complete the preliminary servicing of SWM studies.
- Valid license and ability to conduct site visits on a regular or as-needed basis.
The compensation range for this position is $85,000-120,000 (experience dependent).
