About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at GKB Maintenance. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $35,000 per year, based on 40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and comfortable space.
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Handle and report lost and found items in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide basic information on facilities to clients and visitors.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic space.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
