Job Title: Welder

Alberta Tank Fabrication & Coating Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including flame-cutting equipment, to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate.
  • Flexibility, organized, and team player.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week, permanent work term.
