Job Title: Private School Principal

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Private School Principal to lead our school community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative aspects of the school, ensuring the highest standards of education and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate teachers and support staff to ensure they meet the school's high standards.
  • Oversee the activities of teachers and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Revise programs based on academic performance levels and ensure they align with the school's vision and mission.
  • Recruit and hire teachers and other staff members, ensuring they meet the school's high standards.
  • Direct or supervise the recruitment, training, evaluation, and promotion of teachers.
  • Evaluate the scope and sequence of the curriculum to ensure it meets the school's high standards.
  • Co-ordinate teaching activities and ensure they are aligned with the school's vision and mission.
  • Organize and maintain procedures for the keeping of records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare and administer the institution or program budget, ensuring it is aligned with the school's financial goals.
  • Review programs to ensure they conform to school board or provincial standards.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in Education or a related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a leadership role in education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
