Job Overview

The Operations Department at Haywood Securities Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Securities Administrator to join our team. To be successful in this role, the candidate must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receipt and delivery of securities in physical certificate and electronic form for client accounts
  • Primary contact for securities in electronic form
  • Maintenance of internal securities identification numbers
  • Assist transactions in the US division
  • Incoming and outgoing transit
  • Securities transfers
  • Deposits and withdrawals of securities
  • Processing private placements/new issues
  • Obtaining documentation to negotiate securities

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience in the financial industry (preferred)
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Dataphile Broadridge, CDS, and DTC applications (asset)
