Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic Specialist to join our team in [Location]. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise, combined with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ground equipment, including vehicles, tugs, belt loaders, de-icing trucks, and other specialized equipment.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operations, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve overall performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including time cards and maintenance reports.
  • Assist in preparing preventative maintenance schedules, to ensure optimal equipment availability and reduce downtime.

Requirements
  • Completion of college or vocational training in a relevant trade (e.g., automotive repair, heavy equipment operation).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance.
  • Red Seal Certification (3IOS or 3IOT) is preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and be able to lift/push/pull up to 23 kgs/50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a safe working environment.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
