About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi & Noodle Bar in Fortino's. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Culinary Expertise

We are looking for someone with expertise in sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine. If you have a passion for creating delicious and authentic dishes, we want to hear from you.

Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
