We are seeking a skilled Yard Associate to join our team at our lumber yard. As a Yard Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our product displays are safe and easy to shop, assisting customers with picking and loading their products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

**Responsibilities**

  • Work safely and maintain a safe working environment
  • Acknowledge and assist customers as required, providing exceptional customer service
  • Organize and maintain product displays, including promotional signage and price labels
  • Load, unload, replenish, and restock various areas, ensuring efficient inventory management
  • Follow proper processes and complete paperwork for order picking, returns, or identifying damaged goods
  • Learns about new products and stays up-to-date on product knowledge
  • Assist as a cashier in the Gatehouse to help cover breaks

**Requirements**

  • Safety mindset and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Able to work outside in variable temperatures and weather conditions
  • Able to perform physical work and stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to work Part-Time hours, including evenings and Saturdays
