Agricultural Business Development Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Agricultural Business Development Specialist to join our team at Richardson International's Richardson Pioneer Ag Business Centre in Lacombe, AB.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled sales professional to contribute to the success of our customers and business. As an Area Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and managing credit within the region.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain excellent customer service and act as the primary point of contact for all farm customers
- Sell crop inputs, including seeds, fertilizers, and crop protection products
- Purchase grain and oversee the logistics of grain movement
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A diploma or degree in Agriculture or Business with several years of related experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A valid driver's license
- Experience in a merchandising role is considered an asset
Richardson International provides a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, a comprehensive benefits plan, and opportunities for training and career development.
