Job Summary

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Audit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of risk-based Enterprise level regulatory compliance audit projects, leveraging data analytics and data visualization to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of continuous monitoring and continuous assurance programs to proactively identify and mitigate emerging risks.
  • Support the development of Compliance Center of Excellence, staying up-to-date on regulatory changes and providing expert advisory support to business teams and audit teams.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Audit Programs aligned with OSFI E13 Guidelines, ensuring consistent and complete audit testing of regulatory compliance management programs across all regions and segments.
  • Design and deliver learning programs to educate audit department staff on emerging regulatory changes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive business outcomes and ensure effective risk management.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and deliver in a team environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management, regulatory compliance management, or a related field, preferably in a large financial institution or professional services firm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Knowledge of key regulatory compliance regulations, including OSFI E-13, US, and UK regulations in the financial services industry.
  • Intermediate experience with data analytics, data visualization, and reporting tools, such as Tableau.
