Bakery Machine Operator

Job Summary

Jumping Bean STAVANGER is seeking a skilled Bakery Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery to process and package food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products
  • Perform corrective machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance
  • Record production information to track progress and efficiency
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities to prevent delays and ensure quality control
  • Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines to meet production demands
  • Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products efficiently and accurately
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required to support the production process
  • Check and weigh materials and products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers as needed to maintain a smooth production workflow
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate machinery safely and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors
  • Reliability and dependability to meet production demands and deadlines
