We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team at Zein Press & Printed Packaging. As a key member of our print production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our offset presses, ensuring high-quality prints and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain offset presses to produce high-quality prints
- Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment
- Direct press crew to set up, operate, and shut down presses
- Monitor regular press runs for quality using computer control consoles
- Remove and clean plates and cylinders at the end of press runs
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to distinguish between colors and stand for extended periods
- Noisy work site environment
- Odors present in the work site
- Relocation costs not covered by employer
- Accurate and reliable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Efficient interpersonal skills and flexibility
- Judgment and ability to work as a team player
