Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at Sunbridge Hotel Toronto East.

Job Summary:

The Hotel Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture, making beds, and changing sheets.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests
  • Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • Provide basic information on facilities to guests
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Mend clothing and linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns to ensure a smooth guest experience
