First Student Shared Services is a leading provider of school transportation services, operating in 460 locations across the US and Canada. We work with school districts to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation for five million students per school day.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Transportation Specialist to join our team in Ottawa, ON. As a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and activities, while ensuring their safety and well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Safely transport students to and from school and activities on time
  • Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety
  • Assist students in the loading and unloading process
  • Ensure students' safety while boarding and exiting buses and crossing streets
  • Attend paid monthly in-service safety training

**Requirements**

  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Full G Class License
  • 21 years old and older
  • Must be able to provide a clean abstract and pass a background check
