Job Summary

About the Role
  • This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week, with English as the primary work language.
  • You will supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience and a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Responsibilities
  1. Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that they adhere to established methods and quality control standards.
  2. Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support to ensure their competence and confidence in their roles.
  3. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  4. Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and identify areas for improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.
  5. Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on inventory management, quality control, and staff performance.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
