Burnside & Associates Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our Transit Group. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of transit and rail design experience.
Key Responsibilities- Oversight and participation in the production of contract drawings for transit-related infrastructure.
- Preliminary and detailed design activities, including technical memoranda and reports.
- Preparation of technical specifications, special provisions, and forms of tender.
- Review of quantity and cost estimates for completeness and accuracy.
- Proposal preparation, including work plans, schedules, and fee estimates for transit components.
- Liaison and coordination with other disciplines in preparation of reports, design packages, and proposals.
- A diverse civil engineering background managing transit-related projects.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working on transit and rail-related projects.
- Registered or pursuing Professional Engineer designation in Ontario.
- Proficient in MS Office 365, including Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and/or Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
