Job Title: Part Time Sales Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part Time Sales Assistant to join our team at our West Hill Centre location in Guelph. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, preparing our bakery, and maintaining the high standards of quality that COBS Bread is known for.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for our customers
  • Assist with merchandising products and implementing marketing displays
  • Help maintain a clean and organized bakery, and assist with baking as needed
Requirements:
  • A personable and friendly demeanor, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Prior experience in retail or food service is a strong asset
  • Experience with cash handling and credit/debit transactions is preferred
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with others
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Frequent use of hands for tasks and operating the POS system
  • Capability to lift and carry items up to 7.5 kg regularly, and up to 22 kg occasionally
  • Comfortable with bending, reaching, and performing tasks above and below shoulder level
