Job Title: Industrial Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at Boehmer Box LP. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in our industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
  • Replace or repair electrical components, including motors, generators, and control systems.
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on electrical systems and safety procedures.
  • Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.
  • Interpret electrical code specifications and conduct preventive maintenance programs.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Requirements:
  • Industrial Electrician Trade Certification.
  • Industrial Electrician Red Seal Certificate.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and motors and controls.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
