Job Overview

In this role, you will be working as a member of the healthcare team assisting with patient care and providing basic supportive care under the supervision of a Manager, Health Services, RN, RPN, or LPN.

About the Role
  • Previous patient care experience is preferred.
  • A minimum grade 10 education, Manitoba standards, is required. A successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course is also necessary.
Responsibilities and Skills

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting patients with daily living activities.
  • Providing basic supportive care as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of the region/facility/unit.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • An excellent command of the English language (both oral and written).
  • Prioritization and time management skills to manage your workload effectively.
  • The ability to recognize and pursue self-development opportunities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Salary and Benefits

This position comes with a competitive salary ranging from $20.09 to $23.99 per hour, depending on experience. The estimated annual base salary is approximately $42,000 - $49,900.

Physical Requirements
