Job Title: Member Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at Servus Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will provide exceptional service to our members, exceeding their expectations and making them feel valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized and friendly service to members, responding to their inquiries and identifying their financial needs.
  • Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, and other financial services.
  • Understand member needs and identify opportunities to promote Credit Union products and services, referring them to appropriate team members and external partners as required.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales and referral goals.
  • Resolve routine member concerns and complaints in accordance with our service standards and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines while performing member transactions to mitigate risk of loss to Servus Credit Union.
Requirements:
  • Customer service experience, proven sales experience, cash-handling experience, and a high school diploma.
  • Previous experience working with a Financial Institution is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies) is also an asset.
