**Project Overview**

The Atlantic Science Enterprise Centre (ASEC) is a federal building that needs a redesign and reconstruction. Our team, consisting of Diamond Schmitt Architects and EXP Engineering and Architectural Services, is working closely with Indigenous communities, employees, and partners in the region to create a world-class facility for research and education.

**Your Role**

As an Architectural Coop Student, you will assist the Design Team with design-related work, connect with Indigenous communities, and help present the project to various audiences. Your tasks will include:

* Assisting in design activities
* Building relationships with multiple teams and Indigenous communities
* Helping present the project to various audiences
* Assisting with graphic design and social media
* Organizing and communicating with Indigenous partners, communities, and stakeholders

**Requirements**

* An interest in architecture, engineering, and community engagement
* A technical background in architecture, engineering, or construction (considered an asset)
* High school diploma (preferred)
* Pursuing or intending to pursue post-secondary or a technical program
* Basic understanding and capability with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software applications
