Retail Sales Manager Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our Circle K / Esso team. As a Retail Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sales and operations of one of our retail stores, including managing staff and assigning duties, studying market research and trends to determine consumer demand, and implementing marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold in the store.
- Implement price and credit policies.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
- Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in retail sales and management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point of sale systems.
Work Environment:
The Retail Sales Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, managing a team of staff and making decisions quickly to meet sales goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
