Job Title: Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Alberni Electric Ltd. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations
  • Splice, join and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
Requirements:
  • Electrician Trade Certification
  • Conventional electrical devices
  • Hand tools
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own vehicle
  • Vehicle supplied by employer
Work Environment:

As an Electrician at Alberni Electric Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You will be required to work outdoors and in confined spaces.
