About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ten Sushi. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our dishes, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and prepared for peak periods.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that our team is adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culinary techniques, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
