Job Title: Hairstyling Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Hairstyling Specialist to join our team at Tommy Gun's Original Barbershop. As a Hairstyling Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, and styling hair, as well as providing custom hair and scalp treatments.

Work Environment

Our barbershop is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team of experienced barbers and stylists. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a noisy environment with occasional odors.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and analyze hair and scalp condition
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatment, including shampooing, shaving, and trimming beards and mustaches
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair
  • Apply hair extensions and cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties and maintain and order supplies
Requirements
  • Hairstylist Licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with a team
  • Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and reliability
