Job Summary

Metro Supply Chain is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in meeting customer agreements by handling product for various operational processes, including cycle counting, investigations, damages, returns, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment and RF technology to efficiently manage inventory and meet customer demands.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure quality and consistency in all tasks.
  • Participate in inventory activities, including physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company Health & Safety policies.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor to ensure seamless warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • Two years of warehouse experience, with one year operating material handling equipment.
  • Previous experience with RF-based Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably Blue Yonder.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, including receiving, order picking, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
