Job Description

Mary Browns Chicken#6570 is seeking a Food Service Team Leader to join our team. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, as the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food and excellent customer service standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
  • Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure food and service meet our high standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and suggesting areas for growth.
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this position.
  • Previous experience in a food service or related role is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
Schedule

This is a permanent position, with a typical work schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
