About This Role

Boston Pizza - Salmon Arm is currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of food preparation staff, including training, sanitation, and safety procedures;
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring quality control standards are met;
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
  • Prepare and submit reports to management;
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service;
  • Work collaboratively with the Restaurant Manager to achieve business objectives;
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and walk regularly;
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities;
  • Client-focused approach to ensure exceptional customer experiences;
