Job Title: Staging and Event Labourer

Scene Ideas Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staging and Event Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting with the setup and breakdown of events, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including loading and unloading trucks and equipment
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Assist with general duties as needed in the warehouse and shop
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Secure loads and protect fragile items for shipping
  • Complete accurate documentation of all work performed
  • Follow and maintain safety standards and procedural guidelines
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented atmosphere
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Certification to drive a forklift
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically and make sound decisions
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of $20.00 to $25.00, depending on experience
  • A minimum of 4 hours per call
