About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Dump Ur Junk Disposal Corp. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of heavy equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate and maintain our heavy equipment and trucks, including dump trucks, to transport goods and materials.
  • Inspect and Maintain Vehicles: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate Logistics: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Provide Coaching and Training: Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage Cargo: Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of cargo during transport.
  • Obtain Permits and Documents: Obtain special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Perform Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Record and Report: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence: Possess a valid Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
  • Work Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
