At Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare, we're seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team in the department of Nuclear Medicine. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who want to utilize their knowledge and skills in delivering high-quality radiological services to our patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you are detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and are passionate about providing exceptional patient care, this could be the perfect fit for you.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $83,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your annual salary, you may also be eligible for a $7,500 retention bonus.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing accurate and thorough nuclear medicine examinations.
- Processing and analyzing images/data acquired during these exams.
- Reviewing data/images for diagnostic quality prior to submitting them for reporting.
- Identifying various pathologies and acquiring additional images as needed.
- Providing detailed documentation for interpreting physicians.
- Assisting with cardiac stress testing according to established protocols.
To succeed in this position, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- A completed approved MRT NM training program with both didactic teaching and supervised clinical experience.
- Familiarity with SPECT/CT imaging is an asset.
- Registration with the CMRITO as a Medical Radiation Technologist, Nuclear Medicine (RT-N).
