We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our Finance & Accounting team in Ville Saint-Laurent. As a trusted financial business partner and adviser, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of the Consolidated Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted financial business partner and adviser, influencing the day-to-day decisions and shaping strategy for the Consolidated Group.
  • Responsible for the preparation of Group consolidated financial information and reporting destined for the executive team, shareholders, and other external users.
  • Manage a team of three (3) employees; foster a collaborative team environment, provide clear guidance and direction, and drive effective decision-making to lead the team to successful completion of goals.
  • Be the Custodian of the Group control framework.
  • Implement improvement projects through implementation of technology, process redesign and team development.
  • Support the CFO in strategic growth initiatives, including due diligence, financing, as well as integration.
  • Lead the year end external audit and coordinate activities with the external auditors.
Requirements:
  • CPA) and audit experience within a national firm.
  • Good mix of commercial acumen and analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Creative and able to develop FP&A tools, templates and/or models.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
  • Ability to address multiple issues in a high-paced, rapidly changing environment requiring effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and anticipate the needs of the Consolidated Group and Management.
  • Strong project management skills – systems implementation, process improvement, change management.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial, ERP, CRM, and/or management software (including Excel and data analytics, and with SAP Business One experience an asset).
