About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Wholesale Specialist to join our team at WIT FOODS INC. as a key member of our meat processing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Meat Preparation**: Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • **Customer Orders**: Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, adhering to their specifications.
  • **Standard Cuts**: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for distribution.
  • **Packaging**: Wrap and package prepared meats for storage and shipping.
  • **Meat Processing**: Remove bones from meat, cut poultry into parts, and grind meats as required.
Work Environment

As a Butcher - Wholesale Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and physical demands.

Requirements
  • **Education**: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • **Work Experience**: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.
  • **Work Setting**: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.
  • **Physical Capabilities**: Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and physically demanding tasks.
  • **Personal Suitability**: Flexibility and team player skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week, with a language of work being English.
