About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at YUMMY MARKET. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and cakes.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to meet quality and quantity standards.
  • Train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality products and efficient operations.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to meet customer demand and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
