Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Robinson Haulage Inc. As a key member of our construction crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently.
  • Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting, ensuring accurate calculations and minimizing risks.
  • Clean and maintain cranes, equipment, and tools to prevent damage and ensure optimal performance.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, promoting a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, prioritizing environmental safety and compliance.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring efficient operation and minimizing downtime.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers, pedestrians, and vehicles.

  • Permanent employment, with a standard 40-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency, with a focus on clear communication and teamwork.
