Job Title: Clerical Support Associate

Job Summary:

Humber River Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerical Support Associate to join our Haemodialysis Department, Nephrology Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient department operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Manage patient records, scheduling, and communication
  • Coordinate unit staffing tasks and ensure accurate data collection
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including reception, phone coverage, and data entry
  • Collaborate with the Dietary department and other teams to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of a Community College Office Administration Diploma (preferably Medical) or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of full-time recent clerical experience in an out-patient healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
