Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager, Field Services & Projects to join our team at BWX Technologies, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive proposal packages for major bids, including cost estimates, schedules, and risk registers.
  • Collaborate with project management, business line managers, legal, and other stakeholders to create competitive proposals.
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers and provide direction to procurement regarding sourcing strategies.
  • Oversee the preparation of complete and accurate cost estimates for major bids and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and customers/vendors, including participation in pre-contract discussions and contract changes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Post graduate degree in Business Administration would be an asset.
  • 5-10 years of related experience and a post-secondary engineering or other technical degree/certificate or an MBA.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to effectively impact and influence.
  • Proven negotiating skills, excellent communication (both written and spoken) and presentation abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • PMP designation or working toward same.
