Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at DOABA CONSTRUCTION. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of flooring, including resilient flooring, hardwood floors, and vinyl decking materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Install resilient stair components and materials on counter tops and raised platforms
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Urban area work setting
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, organized, and team player
Work Environment:
