About the Role:

This position requires a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Foster client relationships for movement of goods over the road, import and export cargo
  • Obtain new customers through sales activity and developing relationships
  • Develop a growth strategy to meet revenue targets
  • Set up and attend face-to-face meetings with clients
  • Work closely with operations staff to ensure customer needs are met
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in field sales in over-the-road freight sales/freight brokerage/3PL
  • Additional operational experience in air and ocean freight considered an asset
  • Fluency in CRM, Cargowise systems an asset
  • Basic PC knowledge along with MS Office applications experience required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
