We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical and Electrical Specialist to join our team in St. Thomas, Ontario.

About the Role

In this critical position, you will oversee all on-site mechanical and electrical activities for our Cell Production project, ensuring compliance with project design, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.

  • As part of your responsibilities, you will conduct thorough reviews of construction drawings, documentations, and BIM models to identify potential conflicts between architectural/structural elements and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to monitor project schedules, manage RFIs, and oversee the approval of shop drawings.
  • An essential aspect of this role is supervising the on-site progress of mechanical and electrical installations to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
About You

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing complex projects in Clean and Dry Rooms environments, Automotive, or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, building information modelling (BIM), and other construction management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work safely on an active construction site in accordance with the Health & Safety Plan.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and professional development.
