Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Ruby Rock Asphalts Works Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Construction-Equipment Operator to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are willing to travel frequently. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment and possess a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Operate various types of heavy construction equipment, including but not limited to: cranes, excavators, and bulldozers.
- Clean and maintain equipment on a regular basis to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to identify potential issues.
- Secure special attachments to equipment as required.
- Operate computer-controlled equipment and GPS navigation systems.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management through two-way radios and other communication tools.
- Perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
- Monitor safety conditions at all times and report any concerns.
- 1-2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to travel frequently and adapt to changing work environments.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Reliable and organized individual with a strong work ethic.
