- Daily Production Meetings: Actively participate in daily production meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Insurance Policy and Procedure Expertise: Utilize expert understanding and application of all insurance-specific policies and procedures.
- Parts Identification and Ordering: Identify and order parts from our management system after completing repair plans.
- Customer Education and Support: Assist with educating customers about claims and repair processes.
- Production Deadlines and Updates: Maintain awareness of production deadlines and update customers as required.
- Customer Service: Provide customer service at vehicle drop-off and pick-up, including reviewing replacement vehicles and customer vehicles.
- Vehicle Diagnostic Scanning: Support pre- and post-vehicle diagnostic scanning.
- Vehicle Recall Checks: Check for vehicle recalls while building repair plans.
- Vehicle History Review: Review vehicle history in our management system.
- Efficiency and Productivity: Proactively take steps to reduce effort and increase touch time, reducing vehicle days in the shop.
- Compliance and Regulatory Standards: Work with the Shop Manager, Assistant Shop Manager, Operations team, People and Culture team, and Health, Safety, and Environment Manager to ensure operations are compliant with all provincial and national regulatory standards.
- Internal Policy and Procedure Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote consistent application within the company.
- File Closure and Company Standards: Contribute to the goal of closing all files within 24 hours of vehicle delivery and support company standards in SPARKLE, safety, and security.
- Brand Representation: Represent and promote the Craftsman Collision brand in a positive manner aligned with our stated values in all dealings internal and external.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of progressive industry experience, including experience in sales, customer service, or leadership.
- Education and Certifications: Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred; a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
- Team-Oriented Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Industry Certifications: Working towards I-CAR Platinum certification an asset.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Mitchell Estimating, Audatex, ALLDATA.
- Management System Experience: Experience using our management system or similar platform.
- ADAS and Emerging Technologies: Knowledge and experience in ADAS systems, vehicle calibrations, and emerging vehicle technologies.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal, written, and listening skills, combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision-makers.
- Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution: A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Time Management and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Outlook and video conferencing platforms with the ability and willingness to learn new applications.
- Desire for Learning and Development: Demonstrated desire and aptitude for learning and development.
- Driver's License and Abstract: Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
