Job Title: Compassionate Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Health Care Worker at Olivia Morales Aguilera.

About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes, ensuring they maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, promoting dignity and respect throughout the process.
  • Manage medication administration according to client needs and medical guidelines.
  • Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, fostering a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Engage clients in regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being.
  • Feed or assist with feeding clients, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a hygienic environment.
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed, extending the lifespan of items.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a comfortable living space for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, considering client preferences and dietary needs.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
