Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Painter Assistant to join our team at Friends Painting & Decorating Ltd. As a key member of our painting crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced painters with various tasks, including mixing and applying paints, cleaning and preparing surfaces, and performing routine maintenance work.

Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings as required
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for painting, including walls, ceilings, and trim
  • Assist with the removal of old paint and wallpaper
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning equipment and tools
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
