About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Canada Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measurements in accordance with building codes
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Supervise and train other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a noisy and dusty environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
