About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Tokic Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle condition
  • Oversee condition of vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments, preventive maintenance, and repairs as needed
  • Communicate with central dispatch, receiving and relaying information
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity license check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel cross-border, internationally, and overnight
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to sit for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
