Senior Building Technologies Consultant and Project Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Technologies Consultant and Project Manager to join our Canadian Building Technologies team at WSP Global Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aid in mentoring and coaching of junior staff
- Lead a team of resources including technical systems designers
- Contribute to business development and preparation of proposals, briefs, reports, and project specifications
- Conduct workshops and presentations for project development and new business acquisition
- Work on projects of varying types, including Master Planning, Functional Programming, Design Bid-Build, Design Build, IPD, and Alternative Finance Projects
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and local Canadian Designers to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages
- Contribute to maintaining WSP quality assurance approaches and methodologies
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a Building Technologies consultancy
- Familiarity with Smart buildings, IT infrastructure, Security, AV, and other building systems
- Experience in business development, including writing proposals and bids
- Good writing skills, including report writing and specification writing
- Ability to create and interpret technical documents, including reports, diagrams, drawings, and specifications
- Ability to obtain a Public Works and Government Services Canada Level 2 security clearance and work in a secured environment
- Proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite
- Willingness to travel periodically and as required for project assignments
- Valid driver's license and vehicle for travel to client sites
