About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Liquor Store Manager to join our team at B.C. Ltd. dba Tumbleweeds Pub. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our liquor and wine store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of retail staff, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive store environment.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity, informing our sales and marketing strategies.
  • Merchandise Selection: Select and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring a diverse and appealing product range.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize store performance.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements, recruit and hire new staff, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Work Setting: Liquor and wine store environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
