About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Liquor Store Manager to join our team at B.C. Ltd. dba Tumbleweeds Pub. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our liquor and wine store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of staff, assigning duties and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to determine consumer demand, sales volumes, and competitor activity, informing our product offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Merchandise Selection: Source and procure high-quality merchandise for resale, ensuring a diverse and appealing product range.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
  • Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or management role.
  • Work Setting: Liquor and wine store environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
